Big Issues in ITEC

Advertising influences how and what we purchase, and I think that is the biggest issue concerning technology what works and how do we implement it.

With the financial problems surrounding most school districts, our concerns should revolve around the idea of what gives the most bang for the buck, and I don’t mean some statistical analysis done by a technology provider. Rather, a comparative study done on the results of students with and without technology.

Technology has helped my classroom to provide a learning environment that encompasses a diverse group of learners. I teach at a total inclusion school, and I have students with learning disabilities that excel when they use technology. I don’t use it every day, but when I use technology these students takes over. They practically teach the class. Without these technological resources, I doubt that I would be as successful.
